Shelly Sasson

VP of Marketing and Corporate Strategy

Shelly is a marketing leader who has spearheaded winning go-to-market strategies for healthcare technology startups. Shelly leads Avo's marketing and corporate strategy functions to drive growth and key business initiatives. Prior to Avo, she worked at Ribbon Health, a provider data company (acquired by H1), where she built and scaled marketing functions across growth marketing, communications, brand, product marketing, sales development, and revenue operations. Before Ribbon, Shelly led various go-to-market and campaign efforts at Flatiron Health (acquired by Roche) for the company’s EHR, RCM and VBC offerings. Shelly began her career as an internal strategy consultant at IBM where she created and implemented global transformation strategies for the company's C-Suite.

Shelly graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College of Columbia University where she also studied in Cape Town, South Africa. She is a born and bred New Yorker who can be found playing board games, cheering on the NY Rangers, and eating lots of pasta.
